So this is it the cover art from Blackbirds: Volume 1. I like it a lot.

Agnes Carrera, Art Director for the Pasadena Weekly designed the cover for not only Volume 1, but the next four volumes. In other words, all of the cover art for Blackbirds is done.

Blackbirds is amazing.

The story of the McCrays, a family trying to make it in the midst of the Black Experience, the story is rich with interesting and flawed characters. It’s a comedy, a tragedy, a romance and a history lesson.

And even more important it’s honest.

I for one am tired of living in a country inhabited by people afraid to talk about race. Black people only want to have the discussion if it includes the evils committed against them, and mainstream America says hey that’s all in the past. 

Neither side is fine, just look at Hurricane Katrina and how it was handled by all of us.

Razor7 has grown beyond a quickly assembled site to something real. Before the year is out, Razor7 will publish at least one more book, and this one will not be written by me.

Yeah we’re not just a vanity press.

Slowly but surely we are growing, and our Web site will always be the first place that reflects our growth because it’s the easiest way to reach you.

Stephanie Piechowski worked long and hard on the redesign and I am thrilled with the hard work.

You can still find everything here, and now even a little more. The message board is still smoking with controversial topics, and now you can leave comments on the Blog. If you’re a first timer kick the tires and take it on a test drive. You won’t be disappointed, and if you’re a regular keep coming back for the cutting edge experience.
